HOLIDAY POLICY AT THE INTERCHURCH CENTER
The Tenant Consultation Committee meets once a year in August or September to set the 13 official holidays for the building for the coming year. On those days that have been designated by the Tenant Consultation Committee, The Interchurch Center offices, the building management, the cafeteria and the garage will all be closed. Weekend security will be in force.
The 2006 holidays are: Monday, January 2nd New Year’s Day in lieu of Sunday, January 1st Monday, January 16th Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Monday, February 20th President’s Day Friday, April 14th Good Friday Monday, May 29th Memorial Day Monday, July 3rd Floating Holiday (July 4th) Tuesday, July 4th Independence Day Monday, September 4th Labor Day Monday, October 9th History & Heritage Day Thursday, November 23rd Thanksgiving Day Friday, November 24th Day after Thanksgiving Tuesday, December 26th (in lieu of Dec. 24th Christmas Eve) Monday, December 25th Christmas Day
The 2007 holidays are: Monday, January 1st New Year’s Day Tuesday, January 2nd Floating Holiday Monday, January 15th Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Monday, February 19th President’s Day Friday, April 6th Good Friday Monday, May 28th Memorial Day Wednesday, July 4th Independence Day Monday, September 3rd Labor Day Monday, October 8th History & Heritage Day Thursday, November 22nd Thanksgiving Day Friday, November 23rd Day after Thanksgiving Monday, December 24th Christmas Eve Tuesday, December 25th Christmas Day
Should an agency choose to be open on any of these days, they should inform the TIC building management offices. Building services can be provided at a cost to those agencies. |
