The Harlem Memorabilia: Reflections in Fiber exhibit that you liked so much is coming back to The Interchurch Center! Master fiber artist Dindga McCannon will once again be in residence.
As part of her residency, she’s leading workshops for the Interchurch Center community featuring unique and creative techniques using a wide range of materials and supplies. Personal memorabilia gets combined with styles that range from brand-new to what grandma did to create pieces that represent the stories of our communities.
The workshops will begin on Wednesday, September 18
